One year of RadarLake

RadarLake is one year old today. I think the first year was pretty successful. We had over 5,000 visits from 66 countries. Here’s a map of where our visits have come from:

Not bad. This is a low-ball estimate too because for the first 8 months the code used to track RadarLake’s popularity wasn’t installed in the right place (thanks to me). Most of our readers are from Canada but there are a couple other countries where we consistently get readers from as well.

Here’s a cool animation from a stop-motion animator I love, Kirsten Lepore, to celebrate this occasion. I think we might try to include a little more stuff like this from the creative side of the world in the next year of RadarLake, you know, to improve our divergent thinking.
