The Current on why it’s good to be wrong
Filed under: Ideas by Jeremy on Tuesday, 24th May 2011 at 9:49 amI’ve emphasized before how important making mistakes is to being creative, learning and progress. Sir Ken Robinson’s Ted Talk, which I’m sure most people have seen by now, is probably the most convincing argument for why that is. The Current, on CBC radio one, had a great segment with two people who have recently written books on this subject last week: Tim Harford (whose book is Adapt: Why Success Always Starts with Failure) and Alina Tugend (whose book is Better by Mistake: The Unexpected Benefits of Being Wrong). It’s definitely worth a listen.
