Seventy-five years ago, beer as we knew it changed. The first beer sold in a can flew off the shelf on this date in 1935. It apparently had a overwhelming positive reaction from beer drinkers everywhere. I wonder how long it took for the first shot-gun to take place? Check here for more of a history.

New footage of JFK and Jackie-O surfaced recentley. Ward Warren was fifteen when he shot this footage the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. It’s beautiful, slow, 8mm footage of Airforce One and Airforce Two landing and the presidential couple exiting the plane. Check it out at the Sixth Floor Museum.
